Pre-Extension: Budapest
3-night pre-extension in Budapest - $699 per person
Day 1
Transfer to the deluxe Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal (or similar), in Buda’s Castle District. Take the rest of the day to relax and sample some Hungarian cuisine.
Day 2
Today, you receive a three-day prepaid Budapest Card, which covers unlimited travel on public transport and entry to dozens of museums and attractions. A Viking concierge is available to help you plan your Budapest visit.
Walk through Old Buda; see Buda Castle, Matthias Church and Fishermen’s Bastion. Cross the Danube via the famous Chain Bridge to Pest, and shop along the Váci Utca. Tour the Hungarian National Gallery, the Bartók Museum or one of the thermal baths. (B)
Day 3
A full day to further explore Budapest. (B)
Day 4
We take you to your ship or to the airport for your return flight. (B)
